the client: Rabbis for Ceasefire
the project: I was asked to design the layout for this Chanukah candle-lighting companion, a resource for people to bring their attention to the ongoing devastation in Palestine while lighting their Chanukah candles.
I was provided with the Rabbis for Ceasefire logo and the ceasefire menorah illustration. I decided to use the flames of the menorah as a motif throughout the guide on the left border of each page.
The companion included a reflection, blessing and a song for each night. I decided to visually break up each page between the reflection portion and the song with color blocks.
This resource was going to be shared digitally, and they mentioned wanting to share a page of the document on instagram each night of Chanukah. I suggested creating an instagram square sized version in addition to the full pdf document.
