flyer design / 1 page / 2025
the client: Jews for Racial and Economic Justice
the project: I was asked to design a flyer to promote JFREJ’s Seder in the Streets event. They wanted a dreamy, imaginative, whimsical and hopeful design to represent their D.R.E.A.M. campaign (Don’t Rank Eric or Andrew for Mayor).
I immediately thought of an image with people sitting, dancing, singing, and eating in the street. I wanted to represent NYC with the brownstone houses on one side and trees on the other.
I wanted to incorporate the text in a way that melded with the illustration. I also make comics so I decided to use speech bubbles to bring in the text of the flyer.
